Calmate le acque dopo l’infortunio di Valentino Rossi, si torna a bomba sull’altro argomento più scottante del 2010, quel motomercato che vuole Stoner già legato alla Honda HRC per i prossimi anni. Della vicenda si sa che non è un semplice rumor, e che le squadre coinvolte sono ben informate dei contatti fra Livio Suppo e Casey Stoner.
D’altro canto, nessun altro particolare è trapelato finora, non sappiamo se ha già firmato un contratto, quanti soldi sono stati offerti e per quanti anni l’australiano potrebbe legarsi al team ufficiale giapponese. Corrono in riparo a queste lacune le ultime voci indiscrete del paddock, che indicano la presenza di un contratto da 5 milioni di € all’anno, che fa presupporre inoltre, una scadenza pluriennale.
L’attendibilità di certe dichiarazioni è tutta da verificare, e non è esclusa una smentita, come capita spesso quando si parla prematuramente di moto mercato. Ragionando, però, questo potrebbe essere il più consistente dei rumors di inizio stagione, essendo la semplice conferma di una realtà molto vicina, quella di Casey in tuta HRC, pronto a ritornare su una moto giapponese, e cambiare aria per una cifra molto interessante.

Maric Thorpe, Accident and Emergency consultant at Noble’s Hospital in the Isle of Man has issued a statement on the condition of Guy Martin, who crashed on lap three of the Senior TT.
The statement said:
“I’m pleased to say that Guy Martin has been talking to us throughout his treatment in A&E at Noble’s Hospital. He has bruising to both lungs and some minor fractures in his upper spine, but is otherwise well.”
“We expect him to be in hospital for a few days.”
“Guy asked me to pass on his thanks to his fans for all their support – and tell them that this has nothing to do with lack of commitment from him!”

Senior TT Red flag....

Senior TT sospeso al terzo giro per un incidente a Guy Martin. Pilota elitrasportato ma sembra fuori pericolo. Per la cronaca il ns Ricky ha pranzato con Jorge Lorenzo che era li al giardino di casa (Ago's leap) per vedersi la gara.
non ho parole.................
La Senior dovrebbe ripartire alle ore 16 italiane su 4 giri.

Pensiero...

Al di la del sincero dispiacere per la "perdita " di Rossi da qua a fine campionato, temo che, a chiunque vinca il mondiale sarà detto: " si bravo hai vinto, ma Rossi non c'era...". Lascio a voi ogni altra considerazione.

Ian Hutchinson win the first race at TT 2010.

Ian Hutchinson took victory in the opening race of the 2010 Isle of Man TT at the end of a thrilling six-lap PokerStars Superbike race. It his fourth TT win and his first on a ‘big bike’.
Manxman Conor Cummins had set the pace from the off, completing his first lap on the McAdoo Kawasaki at 131.511mph – from standing start. Pre-race favourite John McGuinness had retired at Sulby with mechanical problems on the first lap.

Padgetts Honda star Hutchy slotted into second, with Guy Martin third, but there seemed there was nothing anything could do about Cummins as he built a more than 20 second lead going into the pits for stop number two at the end of lap four.
But that was when the race was turned on its head. Cummins stalled in the pits, seeing his lead over Hutchinson slashed to just 4 seconds. Just miles later it was all over for Conrod, his machine breaking down at Laurel Bank.
The Ramsey man will have to be content with taking a new Superbike lap record, only just shy of the outright lap record for the TT.
Hutchinson was left with a huge lead over Michael Dunlop, who was promoted after Martin was hit with a 30 second penalty for exceeding the pit lane speed limit.

Suzuki-mounted Adrian Archibald held a strong third, but with the end of the race in sight, Relentless Suzuki by TAS Racing’s Cameron Donald put in some storming speeds to make up for a lap one mistake and snatch third place at the line.
Speaking after the race, a delighted Hutchinson said:
“The bike is the best superbike I have ever ridden. I was pushing hard in places where I felt good.”
“This has been the one I wanted and it is good to get it eventually.”

Per finire dal "lap by lap" credo che il nostro Bonetti abbia avuto problemi al 5° giro.

Rossi...stagione finita.

Rossi questa mattina è caduto affrontando la Biondetti e riportando la doppia frattura scomposta di tibia e perone. Il pilota pesarese è già stato curato in clinica mobile dal Dott. Costa che ha ricomposto le fratture e probabilmente già nel pomeriggio sarà operato nell'ospedale di Firenze.Difficile in questo momento fare una prognosi sui tempi di recupero, ma sicuramente salterà i prossimi GP. Un augurio di pronta guarigione e di un veloce recupero da tutti i motociclisti e dai Nikkia Racers.

Tourist Trophy News

Prosegue la settimana di prove al TT, con i grandi sempre nelle prime posizioni, ma con un alternanza che fa presupporre un certo equilibrio e una notevole competizione. Il giorno 2 il Re Mc Guinness dominava grazie ad un meteo favorevole che lo faceva osare di più, ieri è tornato davanti Hutchinson che secondo me da qualche parte vince. Arretra un po’ il Bonetti che ieri ha fatto “solo” il 28° tempo. Per il resto i soliti noti ad eccezione di un Guy Martin che sembra un po’ in difficoltà (si fa per dire…).

Più articolata la Superstock, dove trovano spazio nomi “meno importanti”. Qui il nostro Bonetti ha un ottimo 18° tempo. Nella Supersport l’astro Keith Amor (vincitore dell’ultima NW 200), ha strappato il primo tempo con una media di quasi 125 mph.
Nei sidecar la certezza di Dave Molineaux e Patrick Farrance, che dal primo giorno stanno mostrando gran classe e soprattutto quasi sempre il tempo più basso.
Domani prima gara ufficiale delle SBK…..

Lo ha fatto attraverso il suo BLOG: le righe che seguono sono tratte dal suo discorso che analizza l'ultima sconfitta di Vale, la scenetta di Lorenzo, è qualcosa che riguarda il passato."In Italia c’è un modo originale di proporre le moto al pubblico: quando Valentino vince e fa show è tutto incredibile, lo fanno altri, si minimizza… Mah!!!Lo show di Lorenzo è stato tostissimo, di un significato sottile e pungente da far capire solo a chi di dovere. Lo avete interpretato bene??? Vediamolo insieme.Passando con la moto ho visto Lorenzo sedersi davanti ad uno schermo e il mio pensiero è stato: “Si godrà lo spettacolo della sua vittoria”. Invece noooooooo!!!Rivedendolo ho letto bene: la sedia era gialla…come quella di Valentino…Il che voleva dire: “Io Lorenzo prendo il tuo posto sulla tua sedia gialla”. Mi siedo con i pop corn per gustarmi una vittoria spettacolare???” No, mi siedo e ti guardo arrivare al traguardo perchè io l’ho già passato….” La dichiarazione di Valentino: “Io lo facevo 10 anni fa” …Debole… Seguita da: “Ora, con il monogomma non si fa più la differenza”. Questa sta per il fatto che non gli fanno più le gomme solo per lui…E proprio questa frase sta a puntualizzare che forse la Michelin nel 2004 più che lo zampino ci mise un braccio. Io non voglio dare torto o ragione a nessuno, ma solo esporvi la mia teoria che gli extraterrestri non esistono.Simpatici sempre e solo quando le cose vanno bene, siamo tutti esseri umani con i nostri pro e contro. Vorrei tanto vedere il prossimo anno Valentino sulla Ducati, ma credosia più facile che vada in Formula Uno!Non perchè la rossa non sia competitiva, anzi, io credo che lo sia molto di più di quanto si pensi. È soprattutto difficile per lui lasciare Lorenzo solo in Yamaha adesso che ha un equilibrio spaventoso, è un rischio troppo troppo troppo troppo troppo grande".

Risultati della seconda giornata di prove. Sottolineo l’ottima prestazione del nostro Bonetti, con il 14° tempo nella classe Superstock…..veramente bravo.
